These two Candidates are Strong Advocates to improve our FLOOD CONTROL MEASURES for Keegans Bayou and BEAUTIFY OUR NEIGHBORHOODS with improved Infrastructure to make it resemble an extension of City of Sugar Land.

TRANSFER OF 80-FOOT-WIDE LAND STRIP, 0.7 MILES LONG, along Keegans Bayou to the District from Kingsbridge HOA. Wayne Thompson, Director on Kingsbridge HOA, assisted in this land transfer.

SUCCESSFULLY GAINED APPROVAL ON A $32M PROJECT FOR FLOOD CONTROL IN KEEGANS BAYOU FROM HARRIS COUNTY Flood Control Officials in 2018.

CHAMPIONED IMPROVEMENT OF SUGARLAND HOWELL RD with Trail worthy sidewalks on both sides and Trail Underpass at the bayou. THANKS TO COMMISSIONER GRADY PRESTAGE for listening to his precinct's citizens!

GOT APPROVAL OF NEW ROAD PROJECTS, PART OF BURNEY RD, PART OF OLD RICHMOND RD AND BELKNAP RD, with Trail worthy sidewalks on both sides and Trail Underpass at the bayou at Belknap Rd.

CONCEPTUALLY SKETCHED THE MASTER PLAN FOR TRAIL SYSTEM FROM BELKNAP RD TO FM 1464 FOR WEST KEEGANS BAYOU IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT in October 2019 as a guide for planning the WKBID Trail System.

REQUESTING FORT BEND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS to PARTNER WITH WKBID for cost sharing for constructing underpasses and footbridges on the bayou for safe access to the trail system.

REQUESTING TO FORT BEND COUNTY TO INCLUDE GAINS RD AND CLODINE RD FOR IMPROVEMENTS with sidewalks on both sides and with underpasses where needed on the Bayou crossing in upcoming November 2020 Mobility Projects. Wayne Keith Thompson joined me in this mission.

ADVOCATED FOR RELOCATION OF MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS TO BE CONDUCTED LOCALLY WITHIN THE DISTRICT allowing neighborhood residents to more easily attend their District’s Affairs. Previously District meetings were conducted in the Galleria area, not allowing easy access for Public participation with the Board.
